Privacy Policy

1. Information and offline gameplay

Foundrysteed is designed to minimize the collection of personal information. The Game does not require you to provide your name, postal address or other directly identifying personal information to Nightware Games in order to play.

The settlement simulation can run offline. Game progress, settings, resources, buildings, upgrades, unlocked content and similar gameplay information are stored locally on your device. Local data also includes purchase-fulfillment information used to prevent duplicate rewards and restore entitlements.

Online services such as Google Play Games, purchases and advertising use network connections. Their providers may process device information, app version, purchase information, diagnostic information and service identifiers. Offline gameplay does not mean that the Game’s online services collect no data.

2. Google Play services and cloud saves

The Android version uses Google Play services for platform functionality. There is no separate Nightware Games username-and-password account registration in the Game. Google Play Games can connect the Game to your Google Play Games profile; the integration can access a player identifier and display name.

Google Play Games Saved Games provides backup and restoration of saved progress when the service is available and you are authenticated. The Game supports manual backup/restoration and automatic backup of changed progress while connected. Saved progress can include gameplay state and purchase-fulfillment records; it is not limited to anonymous resource totals.

Cloud copies are separate from the data on your device. Clearing local data or uninstalling the Game does not itself delete data held by Google. Android’s own backup and restoration settings may also affect whether app data is restored.

3. In-app purchases

Foundrysteed offers optional in-app purchases. Purchases on Android are processed by Google Play Billing. Foundrysteed does not receive or store your full payment card details.

The Game receives information necessary to fulfill, verify and restore purchases, such as the purchased product, purchase status, purchase token and order identifier where supplied. Purchase-fulfillment records may be stored locally and included in saved-progress backups. Google manages its own payment and transaction records separately.

4. Rewarded advertising and privacy choices

Foundrysteed uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements that provide an in-game benefit after you choose to view an advertisement.

Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information such as IP address and approximate location derived from it, device or account identifiers, advertising interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Available advertising and identifier settings can affect this processing. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

The Game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent information and display a consent form when required by that service. A privacy-options entry is available in the Game’s settings when Google indicates that it is required. Ad requests and rewarded-ad display depend on the consent status reported by the SDK.

Do not assume that declining a rewarded ad disables all SDK initialization or all processing by Google services. You can also manage advertising identifiers and other privacy choices through Android and Google account settings.

5. Diagnostics and other services

The current Android production game does not integrate a separate Firebase Analytics, Firebase referral, Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry service. Google Play, billing and advertising services may still process usage, security and diagnostic information under their own policies. This is not a statement that third-party services collect no information.

6. Children’s privacy

Foundrysteed does not knowingly request children to provide personal information directly to the developer. Third-party platform, billing and advertising services used by the Game have their own age requirements and privacy practices.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by third-party service providers to provide features of the Game, including app distribution, cloud saves, purchases, advertising and diagnostics. Advertising-related collection and sharing by Google’s SDK are described above.

8. Storage and security

Local game information remains on your device until it is changed, replaced or removed. Cloud backups and third-party service records are managed separately through the relevant service and its policies. We do not promise that clearing local progress removes all copies held by third parties.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect information associated with the Game. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your choices and requests

You can control relevant options through the Game’s available privacy controls, device settings and your Google account. You can remove local app data through Android’s application storage settings. Purchase records, Google Play Games cloud saves and other Google-held information are managed separately.

See Data Deletion Information for instructions. You can contact Nightware Games to ask about information we control and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so that we can respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or full payment card details.

10. Policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Foundrysteed changes or when services or features change. Any updated version will be published on this page together with an updated revision date.
